Mar. 17--Winter was a mere whisper in Florida this year, with cold temperatures fairly scarce. No wonder our blooming plants, trees and shrubs are mixed up. "This year has been a little odd," says Robert Bowden, executive director of Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando. "Things that are blooming now shouldn't be blooming." Azaleas, camellias and other beauties have extended their runs by weeks in Florida gardens.
