Mar. 17--Allen's Flowers will move this summer to a 2,500-square-foot leasehold now occupied by soon-to-shutdown Ninth Street Bookstore in the Atkins Centre at 111 S. Ninth St., owner Sandra Ferguson said.
The space became available after Ninth Street Bookstore, part of a regional group of stores owned by Jefferson City-based Cowley Distributing, announced in January that it would close March 31. Allen's Flowers is part of a cluster of tenants along Ninth Street that need to vacate by September because of the upcoming renovation of the adjacent Missouri Theatre.
