Finding new products at the International Home & Housewares Show is easy. The trick is finding new items for the home that make sense.
For example, do we really need a battery-operated liquid soap dispenser or Toilet Tattoos - vinyl sheets to decorate commodes?
And as useful as the straps called Forearm Forklifts are for moving heavy objects like refrigerators, they have been around for years.
The two of us - representing both ends of the home-experience spectrum - scouted the show for items we'd actually want to bring home.
