To many in Central New York, St. Patrick's Day is synonymous with green beer and parades. But to wine aficionados, March 17 this year meant a chance to meet and talk with winemakers of the 16 wineries that make up the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.
At Long Point Winery, winemaker and co-owner Gary Barletta spent the day talking with the 20 or so people who ventured out on the wine trail despite snow showers and drifts whipped by 15 mph winds.
