Mar. 20--Cedar Crest College can move its nursing program into the former Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic on Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown's Zoning Hearing Board said Monday. Cedar Crest's 200 nursing students attend classes and labs in several buildings on the west Allentown campus, with most of their facilities in the Miller Family Building.
Moving all 25 faculty members' offices and classrooms to the former clinic at 2901 Hamilton Blvd. will give the students more time to interact with each other and their professors, instead of trekking across campus, said Elaine Deutch, Cedar Crest's executive vice president for ...
