Mar. 21--My colleague Jessica looked at the hand-dipped chocolate eggs and beamed.
"You're really broadening your horizons," she said, cheerily noting this was the first candy to emerge from the Times Leader test kitchen.
"I just hope I'm not broadening everyone's hips," I thought darkly.
"You're not afraid to take chances," she continued.
"Yeah, I'm relatively unscathed," I thought. "Those two little steam burns are healing nicely."
On the outside I was smiling, grateful that the newsroom had smacked its collective lips and declared my fruit-and-nut chocolate eggs a hit.
