Tune-up -- step by step
To start clearing up your disk, turn to Microsoft's own Disk Cleanup utility. You can access it from the Start button, under Programs, Accessories, System Tools, or by right-clicking on the disk you want to clean and choosing the Disk Cleanup option on the Properties/General tab. Disk Cleanup does not affect the Prefetch folder, but you can empty it manually. It's stored in the Windows folder; just open it with Explorer and delete everything it contains.
