Bollinger Shipyards Inc., Lockport, La., delivered the 220'x45'x21' dive ship Epic Diver to Harvey, La.-based Epic Divers & Marine Services LLC in January. The vessel, built in 1976, underwent retrofitting and refurbishing at Bollinger Algiers.
At the christening ceremony in New Orleans, Boysie Bollinger, the yard's chairman and CEO, said Epic and Bollinger have both been around a long time.

"We kind of grew together," he said.
Julie Rodriguez, Epic's CEO, said the new Epic Diver is the type of vessel that her company needs in order to move forward in the dive business.
