CARMEL, Ind., March 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 40|86 Strategic Income Fund today announced that Edwin J. Ferrell, CFA, has been selected co-portfolio manager of the fund. He replaces Amy L. Gibson, who resigned as the fund's co-portfolio manager effective March 20, 2007.
Mr. Ferrell is currently director of research and a senior vice president of 40|86 Advisors, Inc., which is the investment adviser for CFD. In his role, he has been responsible for the management of the 40|86 Advisors' research department, overseeing research on the firm's fixed-income investments and research directly related to CFD.
