Mar. 21--The miles of trails and the many acres of green space he has helped secure over the past 12 years make up only a portion of Mayor Darwin Hindman's municipal resume. However, the 73-year-old lawyer is hoping those parks and walkways will provide an even path toward election to another term on the Columbia City Council. He said he is proud of his reputation as a health-conscious councilman and will use it to his advantage in the days before election day. "When you have a record, it's obviously part of you," Hindman said recently. "I'm running on my experience as a leader and my style as a leader.
