Baseball and an appreciation of the past go together.
Toss in more than a century of local professional baseball and you have the ingredients for Heritage Park at Jacobs Field - a $1 million project dedicated to Cleveland Indians history located beyond the center field fence.
Heritage Park, which will encompass 4,300 square feet on two levels, is scheduled to be ready for fans on opening day.
The top tier, rotunda area will feature plaques honoring the 15 players in the 27-member Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame who are also members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. Names appearing on this ...
