Last summer I had the chance to attend a big-bore double-rifle shoot that is held every other year in eastern Oregon. It's a fun shoot where stationary and moving animal silhouettes are used, rather than boring bull's-eye targets. Rifle nuts from all over the Northwest were in attendance and a variety of over/unders and side-by-sides were on display and being used for the competition.
