Recently bankrupt golf chain 2nd Swing Inc. is taking a mulligan.
For the past four months, the founders of 2nd Swing have quietly amassed a large collection of used golf clubs - worth more than $300,000 - in a shallow brick basement on E. Hennepin Avenue in northeast Minneapolis.
The inventory, stacked from floor to ceiling with barely an inch to spare, represents the unlikely rebirth of 2nd Swing - the once fast-growing retail chain that filed for bankruptcy in August, when it had 50 stores and about $10 million in debt.
