Mar. 23--For Rhonda Vincent, bluegrass music is a family tradition.
As a youngster in Kirksville, Mo., Vincent -- who performs tonight at Northland Church in Longwood -- learned the traditional songs from her parents and started her performing career early in the family ensemble, the Sally Mountain Show.
Now, the circle is unbroken, so to speak, as Vincent's daughter is playing with a bluegrass band of her own as a student at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn.
Recently, daughter called Mom to tell her how excited she was about this terrific song her band had learned: "Blue Moon of Kentucky." Had ...
