Mar. 23--The top walker in the Sedalia Fitness Challenge, who is also a member of the first-place team, gained more than bragging rights through the eight-week competition. License to Lose member Sandy Larson, 60, logged 692 miles throughout the challenge. She says her friendship with her walking partner, who had been a stranger before the challenge, ended up as the best reward for participation. "She is such a sweetie," Mrs. Larson said of her new friend. "I have such a high regard for her." Debbie Moon was Mrs. Larson's walking partner.
