Sara Lee Corp., the makers of Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast meals and Sara Lee frozen desserts, is building a multi-million dollar research and development center at its company headquarters in Downers Grove, Ill. The Kitchens of Sara Lee will be a 150,000,000-square-foot facility for 150 research and development employees working to develop Jimmy Dean, Sara Lee and the company's other brands in foodservice and retail, which include Ball Park, Hillshire Farm, Douwe Egberts and Senseo.
