VIRGINIA BEACH - Frustrated with perceptions of Hispanics and eager to have a stronger political voice, a handful of Beach professionals has formed an organization to address those concerns.
Among the goals of the Hispanic Leadership Forum is to host an annual conference, provide scholarships to public school students and encourage Hispanics to serve in public office. The group is in the final stages of becoming a nonprofit.
