Mar. 23--PANAMA CITY -- Don't tell Mike Kandler there's always tomorrow.
He wanted a win. And he wanted it Thursday.
But North Florida rallied with a pair of runs in the ninth inning to take a 6-5 victory over Gulf Coast at Bill Frazier Field. The three-game series is crucial for both teams, as each started the day near the bottom of the Panhandle Conference standings.
The Sentinels improved to 20-14 overall and 3-4 in the conference, while the Commodores dropped to 19-11, 2-5, joining Tallahassee in last place.
"Once again when you play horribly you can't win games," Kandler said. "We need to get the bunt ...
