Mar. 26--TOKYO -- Isetan Co. and Tokyu Department Store Co. have reached a basic partnership agreement, including joint product development and the integration of sales information systems, sources familiar with the matter said Monday.
The two Tokyo-based department store operators, as well as Tokyu Corp., a railway company which owns Tokyu Department Store, are expected to announce the deal Tuesday after endorsing it at their respective board meetings the same day, the sources said.
