Mar. 26--Accuracy is of utmost importance when it comes to pitching. Being pin-point accurate is almost unheard of.
University High senior Russell Reeve reached the pinnacle of his position, and he hardly flirted with a perfect game or even a no-hitter.
The big right-hander not only threw just 57 pitches in the Bulldogs' 10-0 victory over Highland, 53 of them were strikes. Needless to say, the 'Dogs won 10-0.
Do the math.
That's 93 percent accuracy, and it's highly unlikely at any level, let alone from a high school kid.
