Japan Radio Company (JRC) (Tokyo: TSE No.6751) and Runcom Technologies Ltd, the leading OFDMA chipset manufacturer, completed recently the development of Mobile WiMAX base station equipment and user terminals based on advanced version of the IEEE802.16-2005 standard, utilizing the highest FFT size (2K) and bandwidth (20MHz) defined in the standard, the equipment operating at 2.5GHz achieved a record throughput of 30 megabits per second.
