Mar. 27--In the next two weeks, if you suddenly find yourself with itchy, watery eyes and a sneeze or cough that just won't go away, you might have allergies. Dr. Thomas Luzier of Aberdeen Asthma and Allergy said as trees and plants begin to bloom in the next two weeks, pollen counts will begin to rise -- marking the start of allergy season.
"But I've never had allergies before," you might say. That doesn't matter -- it's very common for adults to develop allergies, Luzier said. Adults commonly develop dust mite, pollen, weed and mold allergies, he said. He said one in five people has allergies, which are hereditary. ...
