BUDAPEST. MARCH 27. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - INSURANCE: Competition Authority Launches Proceedings Against Allianz Hungaria - Insurance company Allianz Hungaria Biztosito Zrt has been summoned to answer to the competition watchdog (GVH), this time to answer to charges of abusing its market position to inhibit competition, and violating anti-trust regulations.
The procedure was launched against Allianz and its alleged accomplices for gaining unjustified privileges in the health insurance sector. Analysts have claimed however that the case against the defendant is not a particularly strong one, and ...
