ATLANTA, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- National Data Corporation (NYSE: NDC) announced today that it has acquired Learned-Mahn, a nationwide provider of software and services to health care and financial institutions.

Learned-Mahn is a privately held Idaho company with headquarters in Boise. Founded in 1973, the company will continue to operate as an independent business unit. It has regional offices in Denver and Chicago.

In addition to providing electronic health care claims and remittance services to hospitals, Learned-Mahn also develops and sells financial services software to financial institutions.
