What is hay fever?
Hay fever is an allergic reaction of the nose (and sinuses) to pollen or another substance in the air. Symptoms include:
* a clear nasal discharge
* an itchy nose with sneezing and sniffing
* itchy, watery eyes (eye allergies)
* sometimes, sinus or ear congestion.
Hay fever is the most common allergy. More than 15% of people have it.
