Engineers and construction workers are among the unsung heroes who are working hard to create Richard Meier's new masterpiece On Prospect Park which is anticipated to be completed in 2009.
"They wanted a unique building for the 1 Grand Army Plaza site--and they clearly got it," says Arthur Siegel of Rosenwasser/Grossman Consulting Engineers. Mr. Siegel is chief engineer for On Prospect Park. He expects all work to be wrapped up by autumn of next year.
Sheathed in shimmering glass, this cast-in-place reinforced concrete framed residence sits like the crown jewel in the tiara formed by Grand Army Plaza.
