NEW DELHI, March 29 Asia Pulse - Mineral export body Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) on Wednesday said the imposition of Rs 300 (US$6.95) per tonne export duty on iron ore has impacted the industry with the exports from India expected to come down by 33 per cent in March itself.
Dismissing allegations levelled by the steel manufacturers that iron ore exports in March will increase by 34 per cent post imposition of export duty, FIMI said China's decision to suspend ore imports from India has infact resulted in a 33 per cent decline in the month.
