Fort Myers, Fla. -- Wednesday night, the Twins made the announcement their fans have dreaded all week: Carlos Silva will travel north as part of their Reclamation Rotation, and phenom Matt Garza will start the season at Class AAA Rochester.
I think it's a mistake. Indications are that most Twins fans think it's a mistake. There are people in the Twins clubhouse who think it's a mistake.
Silva lost his sinker last year and compiled a 5.94 ERA. While trying to find his sinker this spring, he's compiled an 11.02 ERA.
