The Daily News of Los Angeles has joined with the Orange County Register and the San Diego Union-Tribune to form the Southern California Newspaper Network, a combined effort to reach national advertisers.
The new network has a combined circulation of 938,000 daily and 1.1 million Sunday. Through the network, advertisers can now place their ads in all three papers with one order and one bill. There is also a nominal discount -- in the neighborhood of 1 percent -- to advertisers using the network rather than the three papers individually.
