SEOUL, March 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean and U.S. negotiators vowed on Friday to make last-minute compromises and strike a free trade agreement, with a crucial deadline only hours away.Following are brief profiles of two key South Korean officials who could help make it happen.

Trade Minister Kim Hyun-chong

A former legal advisor for the World Trade Organization, Kim joined South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 1995 as a lawyer for the ministry.
