Demand for pension schemes which allow senior executives to make additional pension contributions on top of their existing pension schemes has risen, according to Origen.
The IFA firm said that demand for these 'top hat' pension schemes was driven by the introduction of concurrency rules in April last year as part of A-Day.
The rules allow individuals to have as many pension schemes as they wish, both personal pensions and occupational pensions, and provide them with tax-efficient investment schemes.
