Over-the-Air testing of mobile devices: Over-the-Air testing helps to further ensure that a mobile device will provide good performance on a given network.

In order to better predict the real-world performance of mobile devices, Over-the-Air (OTA) tests have been developed to test RF performance. Mobile devices have been tested typically under nominal 50[ohm] conditions by connecting to the device's antenna connector port and performing measurement's. Testing the mobile device in this way does not accurately describe the range of conditions that the end user might present.
