Genuine Opposition (GO) senatorial candidate Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel dismissed yesterday as inaccurate media reports that he has not undergone a drug test as required by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for all candidates for public office.
"I have already submitted my certificate of drug test to the Comelec. In fact, I had my drug test even before the start of the election campaign period," Pimentel said.
Pimentel said he took his drug test at the DrugCheck Clinic in San Roque, Marikina City last Feb. 12. But he said he was able to submit his drug test certificate to the Comelec only last March 29.
