Apr. 1--Smith County Farm Bureau officials said an addition to the bureau's building at 12208 Texas Highway 31 West for a regional claims office will make the claims process easier for everybody.
The bureau will lease the 3,800-square-foot addition, which TCMC Inc. is constructing at the rear of the bureau's building, to the claims office.
That office will move from its Paluxy Drive location.
Mark Chamblee, Smith County Farm Bureau board president, said construction should be completed Aug. 1. The addition will represent an investment of approximately $300,000.
