BUFFALO -- Mentholatum Co., a manufacturer with a growing number of health care products which has completed two consecutive years of double-digit growth, is fast becoming recognized as a leader in the over-the-counter drug market.
Until recently, the image that most retail buyers and consumers had of Mentholatum was of a manufacturer of such products as Mentholatum ointment, its mainstay for over a century. However, say company officials, that perception is no longer true.
