Home cooks with a good but unusual dish to pass have less than one month to enter the annual Pillsbury Bake-Off, which has a $1 million grand prize.
This 43rd annual contest has five categories: breakfast/brunches, pizza, appetizers, Mexican foods and sweet treats. Each recipe must include at least two ingredients that are listed at www.bakeoff.yahoo.com.
April 22 is the deadline for entering, and entries must be submitted online. Recipes are judged on taste, appearance, creativity and consumer appeal.
This chicken entree by Anna Ginsberg of Austin, Texas, was the grand prize winner in the 42nd annual bake-off. Set aside one hour, from start to finish.
