WASHINGTON - New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has missed fewer votes this year than almost any other senator running for president.
Clinton has missed just 2 percent of the votes this year. In contrast, Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., has missed a third of all roll call votes this year, according to an analysis of Senate votes by The Arizona Republic, a Gannett Co. newspaper.
Clinton tied with her main Democratic rival, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama. Both senators missed just three votes from January through this week.
