THE VIRGINIAN-PILOT
VIRGINIA BEACH - A bout 8 o'clock Friday morning, a Federal Express truck pulled up to the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia.
Whatever that 21st- century man delivered, it could not compete with the time-traveled document that had already arrived.
In two hours, the spotlight in this gallery of modern art would belong to a 13th-century charter between long-dead English barons and their king.
Virginia Beach and art center officials expect record crowds to flock to the center to ogle this original copy of the Magna Carta.
