DALLAS _ Cheerful interiors chock-full of chintz, wild wallpapers, thick stripes, graphic moldings and larger-than-life floral patterns are signature Dorothy Draper.
A new book about the early-to-mid-20th-century decorator says she was the most fabulous in America. Whether you agree or not, there's no denying she's having a moment.
Through May, the Women's Museum at Fair Park in Dallas is displaying photos and furnishings from her famous interiors curated by Dorothy Draper & Co. president Carleton Varney, author of "In the Pink: Dorothy Draper _ America's Most Fabulous Decorator," published in 2006.
