SAN FRANCISCO -- Every year, the top cheese producers from the United States, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa compete in the World Cheese Awards in London, England. In an unprecedented win, California based Mozzarella Fresca became the only United States Fresh Mozzarella producer to win back-to-back Gold medals.
Considered to be the "Olympics" of cheese competitions, the World Cheese Awards featured nearly 2000 cheeses from more than 600 makers worldwide.
