Article: Hechang Chemical invests in high-grade anhydrous sodium sulfate.(PROJECT NEWS)

On March 1st, 2007 the 250 000 t/a high-quality anhydrous sodium sulfate project in Hechang (Guangxi, in Chinese phonetic alphabet) Chemical Co., Ltd. conducted ignition in Taoyu Town, Heng county, Nanning, Guangxi province.

Construction on the project was started in February 2004. It is constructed to make the development of glauberite resources in Taoyu. After the completion of the project, 250 000-300 000 tons of high-grade anhydrous sodium sulfate can be produced a year and more than 70% of the product will be used for export.
