The policy for ensuring the civil use of natural gas has affected the production of industrial customers. Chongqing Swell Ceramics (Group) Industry Co., Ltd. (SH: 600145) using natural gas as industrial fuel announced on March 13th that the gas supplier had cut down the gas supply by 70% and its most facilities had suspended production.

Due to the supply shortage of natural gas, CNPC Southwest Oil/Gas Field Company Chongqing Gas Transmission Zone notified Swell Ceramics on March 3rd that it would reduce the natural gas supply by 70% in March 2007. Because of this, most production lines in the company have already suspended production.
