'Corporates should give microfinance to empower rural women'

New Delhi, Apr 5 (PTI) Private sector banking company HSBC today said corporates should to empower rural women and provide them with microfinance.

Suggesting a three-pronged strategy for this bank's CEO Naina Lal Kidwai said today said the corporate sector should engage with rural women by way of direct procurement of farm produce; provision of micro-finance to scale up entrepreneurship and training them through rural business schools.
