Whenever the next Cubs owner is officially announced, the first question will be obvious.
What are your plans for Wrigley Field?
The answer will tell a lot about his plans for the Cubs and whether they'll ever win another World Series.
You'll notice that none of the responses to the imminent Cubs sale have come from Wrigley Field.
I don't mean from inside Wrigley Field. I mean from the ballpark itself.
Not from the ivy stems. Not from the brick walls. Not from the narrow seats. Not from the patched concrete above the stands. Not from any of the mortar and clay.
