Apr. 8--Builder magazine's editorial director, Boyce Thompson, never hesitates to color outside the lines. Every concept house his trade magazine has created for the International Builders Show -- from Dallas in 1998 to Atlanta to Las Vegas to Orlando the last three years -- was designed to make a point about the residential-construction industry that Thompson believes needs to be made.
