PAXTON - Voters will act on a 24-article warrant, which includes $8.7 million for a new public safety complex and upgrading the town's ambulance service to 24-hour daily service, at the annual town meeting at 7 p.m. May 7 in Center School.
The traditional first article on the warrant, the town's budget, is still not set, pending a resolution of school assessments and undetermined state aid figures.
The fiscal 2008 budget for operating the town is now at $4,612,563, compared to $4,152,934 this year.
