BARRE - The success of any multimillion-dollar corporation is based in good business practices, and as a multimillion-dollar business, the town of Barre is no different, Town Administrator Kevin Flynn said recently, holding a copy of an independent audit by Melanson Heath & Co. of Greenfield.
At a recent selectmen's meeting Mr. Flynn told board members he had received the results of the annual audit conducted by an independent certified public accounting firm and had concerns.
Mr. Flynn developed a graph charting 22 audit issues from fiscal 2000 through the most recent audit for fiscal 2006.
