Brian Casey got a crash course in the residential furniture industry as he took over the reigns as president of the International Home Furnishings Market Authority just 1 1/2 weeks before this spring's market in High Point. Casey, who was hired in March following the retirement of Judy Mendenhall, spent the past 26 years managing trade shows and meetings for trade associations in numerous industry sectors.
