Apr. 11--South Florida motorists, who watched regular gasoline prices fall to just more than $2 a gallon in January, are now paying $2.99 a gallon in parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties, while those using premium gas are already paying more than $3 a gallon. "These prices are ridiculous," said Ashley Koester, a Boca Raton student and member of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel's gas panel. "What's really tough is that my family lives in Jupiter and it takes half a tank to get there and back," said Koester, who drives to classes at Florida Atlantic University's campuses in Boca Raton and Davie.
