KNOTTS' LANDING: Cerruti, which is mounting a comeback this summer, has beefed up its design staff. Following the appointment of artistic director Nicolas Andreas Taralis last summer, the fashion house has tapped Jean Paul Knott to help design the brand's men's and women's diffusion line, 1881, which takes its name from the year in which the Cerruti family founded its textile mill. "The line will embody elegance, simplicity and refinement in harmony with [Taralis's] vision," said Knott, who held stints at Krizia and Louis Fraud.
